The Deer Run

The Deer Run was designed by International golf course architect Bob Sandow to give a challenging links type course, with large  full U.S.G.A. spec greens and sand tees, giving excellent drainage, playing surfaces and holding greens.

The greens are built to the same specification as the 2010 Ryder Cup course - Celtic Manor and ooze quality all year round. A comprehensive , computerised automatic watering system keeps the greens, tees and approaches in first class condition.

An unforgettable feature of the course is the clever use of sandstone boulders quarried from the site. These have been used to make mini canyons, pyramids and waterfalls to give the course that wow factor, along with the marvelous views over the Herefordshire countryside.
